Helen Herbert Portrait Prize & Exhibition

This drawing was shortlisted for the inaugural Helen Herbert Portrait Prize, part of Holt Art Projects 2026. Judged by Charlotte Crawley and James Glennie, the prize ‘celebrates the enduring power of portraiture to capture personality, presence and human connection’. Established in 2026, it honours the legacy of Norfolk-based artist Helen Herbert, whose work explored individuality, family life and the relationships that shape our lives. Exhibition runs 20 July - 1 August.
